Day1Check in
Where you sleepLand, transfer up to the valley and settle into a four-share room at Millefiori (or a place nearby). Dinner together in the village — this one’s on us.
Day2On the snow
dinner at RefugioFirst day on the Cervinia–Valtournenche pass. Bring only what you need on your back — we ski up through Cervinia and sleep high on the Plateau Rosa glacier, dinner at the rifugio included.
Day3On the snow
into the larchesWake up on the glacier and ski the whole way down on the second day of your pass. A car runs you round to Champoluc, where a rustic baita rifugio is home for the night. Dinner there is on you.
Day4On the snow
the groupA full day on the Champoluc side of the Monterosa Ski area, then the car takes you west up toward the Gran San Bernardo to Crevacol and a family-run chambres d’hôtes for the next two nights. Dinners here are on you.
Day5On the snow
new powder daysYour last full day on snow — at Crevacol, small, steep in places and almost never busy, or back over at Champoluc, wherever the snow is best. Add a certified mountain guide for the day (€50, optional) to get properly off-piste, or let Jenny and Jan pick the lines.
Day6One last runDepending on your flight, squeeze in one more morning on the pistes — leave your bags in the bus and ski until it’s time to go, then we drive you to the airport.
These are preliminary timetables — the exact days can shift with hotel availability, conditions and the group that’s travelling, and we’ll keep you informed all the way. The hotels named are the standard we book to; refuges and mountain stays (Plateau Rosa, the Champoluc baita) are fixed, while village hotels and chambres d’hôtes may shift to an equivalent of the same class.
The same faces all winter — they live in the valley, ski it every day, and pick the mountain and slopes with the best conditions every morning.

Skis these valleys all winter and knows where the snow holds — Jenny sets the route, finds the best restaurants for a lunch break, and keeps the group together on the mountains.
LikesSoft snow to make many smooth, sliding turns.
Valtournenche
Lives in the Aosta Valley year-round — up high on foot in summer, on skis all winter. Jan looks after logistics and accommodation, keeps an eye on the weather, and skis every day of the safari with the group.
LikesFast, long turns on sweeping pistes.
Aosta ValleyWe meet you at Turin, Milan or Geneva and drive you up. From there it’s Jenny and Jan organizing every day for a group of no more than eight, the five-day lift pass — Cervinia–Valtournenche, Champoluc and Crevacol, around €242 of it — every bed booked across four different stays, all the transport in between, and dinner on the first two nights, in Valtournenche and up on the glacier.
Your ski gear — though we can sort skis, boots and poles for you; just add gear when you book — dinners at the Champoluc baita and in Crevacol, and your flight. Come by plane, train, bus or car into Turin, Milan or Geneva, and we’ll drive you the rest of the way up.
Departures leave every Sunday from early December to the end of April — each a five-night safari. Prices are per guest for the Ski Bum; switch tier any time and the calendar updates.

One cross-border area shared by Valtournenche, Cervinia and Zermatt, linked on the snow over the Theodul glacier at Plateau Rosa.
Your pass covers the Italian side, Cervinia–Valtournenche (2 days). Zermatt needs an international day supplement.
The Gran Pista runs 22 km from Plateau Rosa to Valtournenche village, dropping almost 2,000 m along the way.
Ski from Plateau Rosa all the way down to Valtournenche, with just one short chairlift hop.
